You've heard your doctors and physical therapists advocate for "resistance training" to enhance muscle mass, facilitate weight loss, boost bone density, improve metabolism, enhance athleticism, prevent injuries, promote mental health, and even reduce susceptibility to chronic diseases. But what exactly does resistance training entail?

Perhaps you've ventured into a gym, tried a few exercises, but felt overwhelmed by the multitude of machines and workout options. Maybe you've even sought the guidance of a personal trainer, only to leave feeling unsure how to continue on your own. 

We recognize the significance of resistance training for our overall well-being, but how can we effectively leverage heavy weights to improve our health?

Casey Burchfield, an Exercise Physiologist and Certified Personal Trainer, invites you to join her weekly semi-private workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to excel in your personalized weightlifting program. Tailored for self-sufficient individuals eager to apply their newfound expertise independently, this workshop will cover essential movement patterns such as the Hinge, Squat, Overhead Press, Push, and Pull. Additionally, we'll incorporate multiplanar movements that complement your major lifts and promote sustainability.
